Train Rover

Train Rover is an extension of Lucky Dog Training and is run by Mary Ann Roux. Her interest in dog training began over twenty years ago when she enrolled her energetic (and naughty) miniature schnauzer mix named Pepper in a basic obedience class.

Since then, Mary Ann has owned and worked with a variety of breeds including labrador retrievers, papillion mix, mini poodles, and a west highland white terrier. Mary has obtained titles and awards in a variety of competitive dog activities, including obedience, agility, barn hunt, rally, tricks, and therapy. Mary Ann has a passion for working with canine owners of various of breeds to help them unlock the full potential in their dogs.

In addition to extensive experience teaching group classes and solving challenging dog behavior issues in one-on-one classes, Mary Ann is also a certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen, AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, AKC Trick Dog, AKC Temperament Test, and the AKC Fetch Program.
